by L. Jones® Affiliate Program Terms & Conditions

1. Program Overview

The by L. Jones® Affiliate Program allows approved participants (“Affiliates”) to earn commissions by referring customers to purchase products through unique referral links or codes.

Participation in the program constitutes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.

2. Eligibility

To participate, Affiliates must:

Be at least 18 years of age

Provide accurate and complete account information

Be approved by by L. Jones®

The program is intended for:

Licensed hairstylists

Beauty professionals

Approved content creators and brand partners

by L. Jones® reserves the right to approve or deny any application at its sole discretion.

3. Affiliate Links & Codes

Affiliates will receive a unique referral link and/or discount code.

All referrals must be tracked through the assigned link/code

Commissions will only be paid on properly tracked sales

by L. Jones® is not responsible for untracked or misattributed sales

4. Commission Structure

Commission rates are set at the discretion of by L. Jones® and may be updated at any time

Commissions are earned on net sales (excluding taxes, shipping, discounts, and refunds)

Commissions are only paid on completed, non-refunded orders

5. Payout Terms

Commissions are paid on a scheduled basis (e.g., monthly)

A minimum payout threshold may apply

Payments may be issued via store credit, direct deposit, or other approved methods

by L. Jones® reserves the right to withhold payouts in cases of suspected fraud or policy violations.

6. Prohibited Activities

Affiliates may NOT:

❌ Use their own referral link/code to purchase products for personal use (“self-referrals”)

❌ Share codes on coupon, discount, or deal websites

❌ Run paid ads using by L. Jones® brand name, trademarks, or product names

❌ Misrepresent product benefits or make false claims

❌ Impersonate by L. Jones® or present themselves as an official representative

❌ Use spam, unsolicited messaging, or deceptive marketing tactics

Violation of these rules may result in:

Immediate termination

Forfeiture of commissions

Permanent removal from the program

7. Brand Representation

Affiliates agree to:

Represent by L. Jones® in a professional and accurate manner

Use approved branding, messaging, and product information

Avoid any content that could damage the brand’s reputation

8. Discount Code Usage

Codes are intended for new customer acquisition or approved promotions

Affiliates may not advertise codes as permanent or sitewide discounts

Abuse of discount codes may result in removal from the program

9. Returns, Refunds & Chargebacks

Commissions will not be paid on refunded, canceled, or chargeback orders

Any previously paid commissions on refunded orders may be deducted from future payouts

10. Termination

by L. Jones® reserves the right to:

Terminate any affiliate account at any time, with or without notice

Revoke access due to inactivity, misuse, or brand misalignment

Upon termination:

All unpaid commissions may be forfeited

Affiliate links and codes will be deactivated

11. Modification of Terms

by L. Jones® reserves the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time.

Continued participation in the program constitutes acceptance of any updates.

12. Limitation of Liability

by L. Jones® shall not be liable for:

Indirect or incidental damages

Tracking errors outside of its control

Technical issues affecting affiliate links or reporting

13. Independent Contractor Status

Affiliates are independent contractors and are not employees, agents, or representatives of by L. Jones®.

Affiliates are solely responsible for:

Their own taxes

Compliance with applicable laws and regulations

14. Right to Audit

by L. Jones® reserves the right to review affiliate activity, traffic sources, and promotional methods at any time to ensure compliance with these Terms.
